Sheri Moon Zombie

I'm always quite skeptical of remakes, especially when it's a remake of a classic horror film like "Halloween" with Jamie Lee Curtis. Regardless of my bias, I really enjoyed the first Halloween remake written and directed by Rob Zombie. I really like the psychological aspect of it and how they dive into Michael Myer's childhood. The original hadn't really done that because I believe they were still trying to develop his character but I really liked where Zombie took it. As much as I was looking forward to the second Halloween, I did not at all enjoy as much as the first. It is sufficiently gory (two women in front of us actually got up and left after the first scene) and it continues with pretty good dialog and doesn't really drag on or anything. But there was one thing that Zombie has a weakness for: His wife. Sheri Moon Zombie. She has appeared in all of his films, I love her, she's absolutely crazy and energetic. Very decent actress for being the wife of the director. I mean, Spielberg casted the chick he was boinking in the Indiana Jones movie and we all saw what a disaster that was. I digress, Zombie put his wife in Halloween II and I did not like it. She was the ghost of the Myers mom who killed herself in the first one and she lead around a white horse which I wasn't even sure on the symbol of that.
